Architecture and structure

The concept that guided the project was to recreate environments that recalled the ancient shapes of barrel and cross vaults, but revisited in a modern way. The structures of the vaults were made of stainless steel, to resist the high humidity of the environment.


To recreate the concept of the natural cave the objective was to create an environment with constant temperature and humidity.

To be refined, the wine must rest in environments with temperatures ranging from 15° to 18° and with a constant humidity of around 80-85%.

To humidify the rooms during the summer, tanks were created with a drip system inside and filled with gravel.
